We built Toolvoro to
end fake reviews.
Every software review site we checked was either pay-to-play, stuffed with affiliate bias, or missing clear evidence standards. We built something different.
The SaaS review industry is broken.
Most review sites that claim to be "independent" earn 80–90% of their revenue from the tools they rank. The higher a vendor pays, the higher they rank. It's not a conspiracy — it's just business. But it means the person making the buying decision gets misled.
Comparing tools that review sites called "best in class" against their own documentation and real pricing showed how often those rankings didn't hold up. After enough misleading recommendations, Toolvoro was built to tell the truth instead.
Toolvoro launched in 2025 with a simple mission: give growing teams and agencies honest, independent software research based on verifiable sources — not on who paid the most.
How we're different
Vendors cannot buy rankings, request score changes without new approved evidence, or influence editorial. We've turned down partnerships with tools we don't believe in.
Every review is grounded in the vendor's own documentation, public pricing, and reputable third-party feedback — not repackaged press releases or feature lists.
Our evidence-gated scorecard is fully documented. Anyone can read exactly when scores appear, how the formula works, and why unsupported scores are withheld.
Tools evolve. A review from two years ago can actively mislead buyers. We flag outdated content and update the evidence when tools ship major changes.
Our timeline
Built for growing teams and agencies
We focus on teams managing 5–50 websites people choosing tools. Not enterprise procurement. Not individual consultants and agencies looking for free options. The mid-market where every subscription dollar matters.
